Paul McGough

 

Paul McGough, was born in 1980 in Mullingar, County Westmeath where he was Head Chorister of the Cathedral Boys' Choir under Shane Brennan and awarded a scholarship to study at the Schola Cantorum of St. Finian's College. He later graduated with an MA in Music from Trinity College. Paul's singing experience ranges from contemporary repertoire to ancient music, the latter an area of particular interest for him. As a member of groups such as Anúna, the National Chamber Choir of Ireland, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, the international show Celtic Woman, Resurgam and many more, Paul has performed around the globe. He also performs much around Ireland with his national champion vocal quartet '4 in a Bar' and early music group Crux Vocal Ensemble.
